Senior Therapy

Aging is normal and universal. Research finds that for many, life satisfaction and happiness increase as they approach their 60’s and beyond, contributing to overall well-being.

Yet this is also a time of major transitions and unique needs for older adults. Common concerns are significant losses, grief, anxiety, sadness, self-esteem, changing relationships, adjustment to retirement, physical decline, and/or loss of independence.

If personal challenges are becoming overwhelming, counseling approaches built on a foundation of respect and empathy can be a useful option for finding therapeutic support and new coping skills when most needed!
